Letter: Guard against self-interest

The action by the Port of Vancouver commission “against” Gramor Development leads me to think that the port is trying to eliminate Gramor Development from the picture in order to improve the chances of Tesoro-Savage getting approval to build the oil terminal.

I am also led to suggest that the port commission should sign an agreement that if Tesoro-Savage gets to build the oil terminal, the commissioners cannot/will not be hired by any company that runs, administers, or otherwise controls the oil terminal.
