Washougal residents can learn about a time-banking program that allows people to exchange skills and services — or time — instead of money. Columbia Ridge Senior Living will host a presentation on the Hour Impact program from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 7 at 2300 W. Ninth St.

Those who plan on attending should contact Ashima Ram at 360-335-1238 or aram@artegan.com by Monday.

The Commission on Aging and the Human Services Council launched Hour Impact earlier this year. For every hour donated to the time bank, members earn an hour of service for their own needs. Visit www.hourimpact.org for more information.
