It’s hard to imagine. But things went from bad to worse for the Prep Proletariat.
Thinking that teams moving into league play would make thing easier, the Prep Proletariat had his worst week of predictions all season.
He entered the week at a 67 percent correct pick rate. He went 10-6 last week (62.5 percent).
Now his season mark stands at 42-22 (66 percent).
The only consolation is the Score Czar had an equally bad week, at least as his picks in Southwest Washington was concerned.
The two prognosticators split their swing games. The Score Czar correctly picked games statewide at a 79-percent rate. But he was just 62.5 percent in Southwest Washington.
And a smaller consolation for the Prep Proletariat is that his predicted scores were slightly better than the Score Czar’s. If we use predicted margin of victory as the guide, the Prep Proletariat was closer to the actual margin in eight of 14 games.
