The online process for referring students to Evergreen Public School’s 2016-17 program for highly capable students will be open from Thursday through Nov. 16.
The program is known as Evergreen’s eXplorations in Creativity, Excellence, and Leadership, or EXCEL. According to the brochure, EXCEL aims to meet “the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of highly capable students in grades K-12.”
During the enrollment period, students can be referred for winter EXCEL testing for placement in the 2016-17 school year. To refer a child, go to www.evergreenps.org, click on Programs, EXCEL Program, and then click on the clipboard on the right side.
