Portland Winterhawks goaltender Adin Hill signed a three-year NHL entry-level contract with the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday.

Hill was selected in the third round, 76th overall, in the 2015 NHL Draft. As a 20-year-old next season, he will be eligible to return to Portland.

In two full seasons with the Winterhawks, Hill has appeared in 115 games with record of 67-38-6-1. He has a save percentage of .919 and a goals-against average of 2.86.

Also, Rihards Bukarts signed an amateur tryout contract with the Portland (Maine) Pirates of the American Hockey League. The Latvian winger completed his WHL career last week when the Winterhawks were eliminated from the playoffs. Acquired early this season from Brandon, Bukarts had 26 goals and 27 assists in 54 regular-season games for the Winterhawks and added two goals and one assist in four playoff games.
