PeaceHealth has appointed an employee with more than 30 years’ experience in health care to its newly created chief administrative officer position.

Carol Aaron, who joined PeaceHealth in 2010 as its chief human services officer and senior vice president of people and culture, will lead PeaceHealth’s efforts to align and fully integrate its internal and external engagement efforts. Aaron will be responsible for collaborating with community leaders and PeaceHealth staff to ensure the best patient experience, according to a news release from PeaceHealth.

The new administrative position is part of PeaceHealth’s ongoing restructuring efforts to better align with the movement toward improving population health, rather than caring for ill individuals. Under the new structure, Aaron will oversee one of five areas that report directly to Liz Dunne, PeaceHealth’s president and CEO.
