Letter: County: Stay out of tribe’s way

To Clark County officials (regarding the Cowlitz casino project): You people lost, and lost and lost. Get over it, and get off the reservation and leave it alone. County government has wasted thousands of taxpayer dollars and made one bad decision after another.

Their arrogance is disgusting at this point. They are lucky I don’t represent the Cowlitz Tribe, because now the county is open to lawsuits for abuse of process and could be held liable for all legal costs, delays and numerous other expenses, as well as punitive damages. And all of it, just like all they have wasted to date, comes out of the taxpayers’ pocket, which makes me tend to think we need to clean house in this county government and city government.
