WorkSource will host a hiring event Wednesday for those interested in working in health care.
The event will include information about hospitals, assisted living facilities, in-home care and rehabilitation companies with job openings for certified nursing assistants, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and other health care-related positions. Certified nursing assistant candidates are encouraged to attend to learn about training funding through WorkSource.
Job seekers should bring résumés, dress for an interview and be prepared to speak with employers.
The event is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 204 S.E. Stonemill Drive, Suite 215 in Vancouver.
