Prep highlights: Lauderdale tosses no-hitter for King’s Way Christian

The 6-0 victory is third of the week for Knights

The King’s Way Christian pitcher threw a no-hitter in a 6-0 win over Kalama on Friday, as the Knights completed a three-game sweep this week of the Chinooks.

Lauderdale struck out seven and walked four. At the plate, he also hit a solo home run and an RBI single in four at-bats for the first-place Knights.

Luke Oja was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBI, and Liam Nabors went 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI for King’s Way Christian.

• Tucker Parker, Camas baseball, pitched a complete-game four-hitter as the Papermakers rallied from 3-0 down to beat Skyview 4-3.

• Kevin Miser and Spencer Anderson, Ridgefield baseball. Anderson was 3 for 3 with a double and RBI, and Miser was 2 for 3 with two doubles and three RBI in a 13-1 win at Woodland.

• Alex McGarry, Columbia River baseball, went 4 for 4 with a triple and four runs scored for Chieftains in a 10-1 win over Centralia. He also gave up just one run in five innings pitched.

• Trevor Moore and Tyler Milton, Mountain View baseball, combined on a two-hitter in a 4-0 win over Evergreen.

• Abby Fischer, Skyview softball, went 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBI in a 15-0 win at Mountain View.

• Sawyer Bierscheid, La Center baseball, went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double and three RBI in a 8-4 win over Columbia-White Salmon that keeps the Wildcats tied for first place in the Trico League.

• Jared Oja, Hockinson baseball, struck out 10 in four innings for Hockinson in a 9-3 win over Washougal. He was also 1 for 4 at the plate.

• Nick Cuppy, Hudson’s Bay baseball, had two hits including a home run and three RBI in a 6-1 Eagles win at R. A. Long.

• Trevor Wharton, Heritage baseball, gave up just a solo home run, while striking out seven in a complete-game win as the Timberwolves beat Union 6-1.

• Danny Wing and Bennett Lehner, Camas soccer, both scored two goals with Lehner assisting on Wing’s first in the Papermakers’ 4-1 win over Evergreen.

• Aidan McGinty, Union soccer, scored late in the second half to put Union ahead while playing a man down in a 2-1 win over Skyview.

• Jacob Alvick, Heritage soccer, assisted on both goals as the Timberwolves beat Battle Ground 2-1.

• Spencer Baird, Columbia River soccer, scored a goal and assisted on another as the Chieftains won at Tumwater 2-1.
