The Portland Trail Blazers will tip-off their 47th NBA season against the Utah Jazz at the Moda Center on Tuesday, Oct. 25, it was announced Thursday by the NBA.

Portland will open with three of its first four games at the Moda Center, including two against last season’s playoff opponents, the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors.

Among the highlights at the Moda Center in 2016-17: the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Portland on Jan. 11; the Warriors come to town on Nov. 1 and Jan. 29; the San Antonio Spurs play two games on Dec. 23 and April 10; and the Clippers make their lone trip to Portland on Oct. 27.

The team has a season-long, five-game home stand scheduled from Jan. 25-Feb. 3, and makes three five-game road trips on the year. Seven of the Trail Blazers’ first 12 games are at home, and the season ends with 10 of the final 12 games being played at the Moda Center.

Portland will take on 10 of 14 Western Conference opponents twice at home and twice on the road, while playing Houston, the L.A. Clippers, Memphis and Sacramento only three times apiece. Of those matchups, the Trail Blazers host Houston and Sacramento twice, and the L.A. Clippers and Memphis once. The team will face each Eastern Conference team twice.

The Trail Blazers will close out the regular season on Wednesday, April 12 vs. New Orleans.
