A Vancouver man is in critical condition after police say he was deliberately run over by a vehicle in Gresham Wednesday night.

Larnell Malik Bruce, 19, was fleeing an altercation outside 7-Eleven, 18735 E. Burnside St., Wednesday night when he was run over by a 1991 Jeep Wrangler, according to the Gresham Police Department.

Bruce remains in critical condition at an area hospital, police said.

The driver and passenger, Russell Courtier, 39, and Colleen Hunt, 35, were arrested and face charges of attempted murder, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

They are being held at a Multnomah County detention facility in lieu of a $500,000 bail.
