Five Vancouver men and one Washougal man were among those arrested in an online sex trafficking sting conducted by the Portland Police Bureau last week.

Investigators posted online ads to known sex trafficking websites last week and were contacted by 28 men seeking to arrange payment for sexual acts, according to Portland police. The men responded to the ad and came to Portland hotels, which assisted police as part of the investigation.

All 28 men were arrested on suspicion of patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor. Among them were five Vancouver men: Travis William Saban, 42; Bernie R. Nickels, 53; Christopher Huston, 50; Chad Alexander Livran, 28; and Adrian Dean Hunt, 27. Anthony Neal Aldridge, 62, of Washougal, was arrested on the same charge.

Anyone who suspects someone is trafficking or being trafficked is encouraged by police to contact the Portland Police Bureau’s Sex Trafficking Unit at 503-255-0118; the Sexual Assault Resource Center hotline at 1-800-640-5311; or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
