KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The trial of a former BNSF Railway employee accused of killing his supervisor in 2014 has been delayed.
The Herald and News reports that 60-year-old James Forshee II was scheduled to go to trial Sept. 6, but his attorney has asked that it be moved to July 27 so the defense team can evaluate new evidence.
The old date has been canceled, but a new trial date has not yet been set.
Forshee has been in jail since April 2014. He was arrested after the shooting death of 42-year-old Emery Wade Connor in Klamath Falls. At the time, Connor was Forshee’s supervisor at a BNSF rail yard.
