Vancouver Pizza, a fixture in the Uptown Village neighborhood for 23 years, is expanding its footprint. Beginning next Monday, the restaurant will be closed for seven weeks while it doubles in size at its current location, 2219 Main St.
When the restaurant reopens in October, it will have more space for diners and to hold special events, fundraisers and other neighborhood activities, according to co-owner Karen McMillen.
Mark Jackson Construction is the contractor. McMillen said patrons will be kept apprised of the progress with weekly updates posted on the restaurant’s windows.
