Letter: Clinton doesn’t follow best policy

Protect truth is what we all should be doing every day.

This in response to George Thomas’ Aug. 29 letter, “Protect Truth with all our powers,” regarding Hillary Clinton and the idea she can’t be trusted, stating that lies about her are not true. He talked about her and Benghazi, saying the claims are unproven. We know she lied when she said it was caused by the media. Regarding the emails, he stated, “The charge of careless email usage against her can only be justified if past secretaries of state are also charged with criminal behavior.”

What is it about the Clintons that they can lie, we know they are lying, we challenge them for lying, and then we are told they are misleading? For example: Bill said he never had sex with that woman. A lie or misleading? Hillary said she only deleted personal emails. A lie or misleading?

What has happened to real honesty, has it gone the way of being politically correct? I think the real hard-working people of country will figure out that real truth matters, and the ones on the dole don’t really care and will take whoever, as long as they get a free ride.

Honesty is still the best policy.
