Girls basketball: La Center 55, Columbia River 27

Taylor Stephens had 19 points, five assists and four steals to lead La Center to a non-league win over visiting Columbia River.

Taylor Mills added four points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals, and Whitley Seter had eix points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats, who led 30-16 at halftime and cruised from there.

Kate Kraft paced the Chieftains with eight points.
