Battle Ground schools delayed, buses on snow routes

Schools in the north part of the Battle Ground School District have a 2.5 hour delay start and are on snow routes, the district announced this morning.

Affected schools include: Battle Ground High, Amboy Middle, Yacolt Primary, Tukes Valley schools, Summit View High, CAM Academy, River HomeLink

No other delays or closures have been reported, but other school districts are announcing that some routes have been changed to snow routes.

Buses 204 and 209 in the Hockinson School District are on snow route and in the Woodland School District, there are snow routes on Route 92, Shirley Gordon on Route 98 and N Dubious for Route 211.

Today’s weather forecast calls for 20 percent chance of showers before 10 a.m. and mostly cloudy the rest of the day with a high near 40 degrees.
