Three from Ridgefield make regional honor choir groups

Ridgefield — Three Ridgefield High School student musicians were accepted into the 2017 honor choirs sponsored by the National Association for Music Education Northwest Division, which is made of students in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. The Ridgefield students honored were senior Julianne Hess, junior Max Kunetz and freshman Bridget McCallie. Hess was selected for the All-Northwest Mixed Honor Choir, and Kunetz and McCallie were accepted into the All-State Symphonic Choir for the Washington Music Education Association. They will perform at the 2017 Northwest Division Conference Feb. 16-19 in Bellevue.
