Letter: Beware Rose Quarter rules

When attending a Winterhawks game a month ago, we were told we could not bring our large umbrella into the Moda Center, and that we should take it back to our car. We had come on MAX. There were no signs posted regarding umbrellas, but we were told to go online; the new rules were posted there. I went to the box office and got two vouchers, as we’d been denied admission because of the new rule. Subsequently I found that 25 other folks just left their umbrellas outside the security area to pick up on the way out.

People who travel to the Rose Quarter on a rainy day might rethink their choice of umbrellas. The small, purse-size umbrellas are acceptable.
