Vancouver-based Pacific Lifestyle Homes launched a toy drive this month for children who will spend the holidays in hospital beds.

People may donate unwrapped toys, blankets, stuffed animals and puzzles at Pacific Lifestyle Homes’ corporate offices, 11815 N.E. 99th St., Vancouver; or Stan’s Auto Body, 715 S.E. First St., Battle Ground.

The company said the drive is the idea of 5-year-old Macey Bodily, a Vancouver girl who recently underwent surgery on a brain tumor at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland.

“Pacific Lifestyle Homes is helping Macey fulfill a wish to be able to give back by delivering toys to children who face similar health challenges,” the company wrote in a statement.

The company will accept the toys through Dec. 24 for Dec. 25 delivery.
