Letter: Elections have consequences

I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed reading the Columbian’s opinion page since the election!

Residents who bashed Jaime Herrera Beutler with some of the nastiest, mean-spirited attack letters are now demanding she represent their views and failed policies after her easy re-election. Really? Not how this works. To quote a famous soon-to-be-former White House occupant, “elections have consequences, and you lost.”

Be strong, my little snowflakes; these next eight years are just going to fly on by.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
