Girls basketball: La Center 60, Seton Catholic 19

Taylor Mills had 14 points and 12 rebounds as La Center rode its defense to a win.

The Wildcats held Seton Catholic to 6 for 34 from the field.

Andrea Griffee had eight assists. Bethany Whitten added five steals and four assists.

La Center’s victory sets up a Friday showdown in Kalama. The Wildcats (18-1, 11-0) would clinch the 1A Trico League title outright with a win.

Kailey Beckwith scored nine points to lead Seton Catholic (8-11, 4-7).
