Police tactical officers arrested seven and found evidence of heroin and methamphetamine dealing following a Thursday morning search in Vancouver’s Five Corners area, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

Kapp said officers with the department’s gang crimes team, with the help of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and regional SWAT team, contacted 27 people during a search at 10713 N.E. 96th St. in connection to investigations for drug trafficking and wanted fugitives.

The search started at around 5:20 a.m., and officers arrested seven at the home on multiple outstanding warrants.

Five were arrested for warrants from the state Department of Corrections for escaping community custody: James R. Montoya, 40; Michael J. Hartung, 34; Wendy K. Ngirarois, 30; Charles C. Thompson, 45; and Brian L. Weiss, 25.

Felicia R. Klein, 36, and Christopher M. Winton-Wurzer, 43, were booked on outstanding warrants from county District Court.

Kapp said the investigation was ongoing.
