Letter: Cost of adding lanes wastes taxes

When I drive about our fair city and see dollars laying on my roadway, I become incensed. I pay taxes and I have proof displayed on the front and rear of my automobile. Then I see my tax money laying on the street to give a nontaxable vehicle a place to ride their two-wheeled conveyance.

Is there something wrong with this picture?
