The Vancouver Police Department is investigating reports of shots fired early Friday morning, including a round that went into a house.

According to dispatch records, multiple reports came in at about 12:40 a.m. Friday of multiple people shooting at each other in the 16000 block of N.E. 47th St., according to Vancouver Police.

Numerous casings were located in the area, and a round went through the front window of a home at the 4600 block of N.E. 158th Ave. No one was injured, police said.

A vehicle described by witnesses to the shooting was stopped by police, and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence and three occupants of the vehicle were interviewed, police said.

Officers with the Major Crimes Unit and Safe Streets Task Force are investigating the shooting, police said.

There were also reports of multiple shots fired near the intersection of East Eighth Street and Broadway in downtown Vancouver early Friday morning, though details and whether or not the two incidents were related remained unclear Friday afternoon.
