Mark Morris got the jump on the Panthers and the battle of two first-place teams in 2A Greater St. Helens League wasn’t much of a battle.
“They played great defense, they shot the ball well, had good movement,” Washougal coach Malcolm Estes said of the Monarchs. “Everything that could go well for them did tonight. We just seemed tired and not the same team we’ve been the last four games.”
Masen Baker had 15 points for Mark Morris and Will Burghardt and Nick Rinck added 14.
Collin Prangley paced Washougal with 17 points.
