Police officers are investigating a report of an armed robbery Monday evening in a home north of Clark College in Vancouver.

Officers received a report at around 5:30 p.m. that someone had broken into a house in the 2300 block of Northeast 28th Avenue and robbed a woman.

Vancouver Police Department Sgt. Deb Libbey said the victim reported getting a knock at the door then, thinking she knew who was there, and opened the door. Two males, a man in his 20s and a teenager, entered the house and one threatened her with a knife.

The two stole marijuana and left, Libbey said, presumably on foot. The woman was unhurt.

Officers formed a perimeter around the area and brought out tracking dogs, Libbey said, but did not find the robbers.

“With the foot traffic in the area and the rain, I think that made it more difficult,” Libbey said.
