LOS ANGELES — Firefighters have responded to the Los Angeles Zoo after a worker fell into the gorilla enclosure.
City fire officials say the animals in the enclosure have been secured but the condition of the worker is unknown.
Crews are assessing the situation and preparing necessary equipment to get to the worker. The zoo was closed when the worker fell Thursday morning.
