Climate-change talk scheduled at WSUV

Vancouver — The community is invited to a discussion, “Climate Change: The Clash of Science and Politics,” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at Washington State University Vancouver in the Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.

Mark Stephan, associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, will discuss politicians’ take on climate change. Michael Berger, senior instructor in the College of Arts and Sciences, will cover how scientists talk about climate change.

The free event is presented by WSU Vancouver’s American Democracy Project, a multi-campus initiative focused on public higher education’s role in preparing the next generation of informed, engaged citizens for our democracy.

Refreshments will be served in the Dengerink Administration Building, Room 129.

Parking is available at meters and in the Blue Daily Pay lot for $3.
