The board of regents of Washington State University will attend a regularly scheduled meeting Thursday and Friday on the WSU Vancouver campus, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., in Rooms 101-103 of the Firstenburg Student Commons.
Action items to be considered by the regents include authorization to proceed with design and preconstruction of a Plant Sciences Building on the Pullman campus, approval of increases to WSU housing and dining rates for the 2016-17 academic year and the establishment of a Metropolitan Center for Applied Research and Extension at WSU North Puget Sound in Everett.
An executive committee meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, followed by consecutive meetings of the regents’ committees on finance and audit, academic and student affairs, and external affairs.
