PRINCETON, Texas — Officials say a Wal-Mart employee is in custody after stabbing two people in a North Texas store.
Princeton police Chief James Waters said the incident happened Wednesday afternoon. He said the two people stabbed were taken by helicopter to a hospital and are both in stable condition.
Princeton City Manager Derek Borg told TV station KXAS an off-duty McKinney firefighter was among the victims.
Waters said the suspect fled but was caught nearby. He said the suspect was being treated for what are believed to be self-inflicted injuries to his hand.
