Three people were reportedly injured after a suspected intoxicated driver caused a two vehicle crash Saturday night north of Amboy.

Dennis Miezejeski, 62, of Ariel was driving a 1994 Plymouth Voyager van north on state Highway 503 about six miles north of Amboy when he veered off the shoulder and into a ditch, according to Washington State Patrol.

Miezejeski overcorrected and entered the roadway and into the southbound lanes, striking an oncoming blue 2002 Ford F150 pickup, troopers said. The crash was reported at about 7:15 p.m.

The driver of the pickup, Jason Warnburton, 35, of Yacolt was injured and taken to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, though his condition was not available. Two juvenile passengers in the pickup, ages 10 and 3, were not injured but taken to the hospital also, state patrol reported.

Miezejeski and his passenger, Tina Hoffman, 53, of Ariel, were both injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where they were both treated and released.

Investigators said that Miezejeski faces a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
