A fire north of Camas late Sunday damaged a house and four vehicles parked in the driveway.

East County Fire & Rescue was called to a two-story home in the 26000 block of Northeast Third Street at 10:54 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find the attached three-car garage fully engulfed in flames, said Chief Robert Jacobs.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage and four vehicles that were parked in the driveway, but the main house suffered smoke damage and some broken upstairs windows.

The garage contained woodworking tools, a pool table and other typical contents, Jacobs said.

Two adults, two children and a dog were displaced. They were assisted by the American Red Cross.

There was no word Monday morning on the cause of the fire. A Clark County fire marshal will investigate.

The Camas-Washougal Fire Department also responded to the fire.
