Three people were arrested Monday evening following a shooting outside Washington Elementary School in Vancouver. No injuries were reported.
The incident began at about 5:40 p.m. as a fight between two groups of juvenile males who met up at the school, according to a press release from the Vancouver Police Department. After the fight ended, a boy in one of the groups pointed a gun toward the other group and fired multiple shots, police said. The suspects fled in a car.
Vancouver police officers stopped the car and arrested two boys and one man on suspicion of first-degree assault, police said. The shooting remains under investigation.
