The Ridgefield School District announced the hiring of three new administrators for the start of the 2016-2017 school year, the district announced last week.

Courtney Margolin was hired as the assistant principal at Union Ridge Elementary School, Tiffany Gould is the new assistant principal at South Ridge Elementary School and Michael Baskette will be the district’s new director of special education.

Margolin, most recently an associate principal in the Longview School District, started her career in Evergreen Public Schools, working 10 years as an English and history teacher.

Gould has been with the Battle Ground School District since 1995, working as an elementary school teacher and a reading and math intervention specialist.

Baskette has 17 years of experience as a special education teacher in elementary, middle, and high school, and most recently worked as a teacher and administrative intern at Captain Strong Primary School in Battle Ground.

“Courtney, Tiffany, and Michael bring a wealth of experience and fresh ideas to our district,” Ridgefield Superintendent Nathan McCann said in a news release. “They are committed to our pursuit of becoming the premier school system in the state of Washington.”
