Share plans to provide 27,000 free meals to children from June 27 to Aug. 12 at 22 sites, including schools, parks and apartment complexes.

The program is part of the Simplified Summer Feeding Program and is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Share’s Summer Meals program will provide free meals for children up to age 18 at multiple locations throughout Clark County.

No meal service will be provided at any of the locations on July 4, said Becky Parker, who coordinates the program.
