McGarry, Biggs highlight all-state baseball teams

Six Clark County players also receive second-team honors

Colin Biggs and Alex McGarry, the players of the year from the Class 4A and 3A Greater St. Helens Leagues, were both named as first-team members of the all-state baseball teams.

Biggs led Mountain View to the 4A GSHL title and District 4 championship. McGarry helped Columbia River to a 3A GSHL title and guided the Chieftains to the elite eight in the Class 3A state playoffs.

The teams were announced by the Washington State Baseball Coaches Association.

Six Clark County players were named to second-team all-state.

Liam Fitzpatrick of Camas, Preston Jones of Mountain View, Isaiah Smith of Battle Ground, Gunner Talkington of Battle Ground, and Trevor Wharton of Heritage made the 4A’s second team. Taylor Easterly of Columbia River was second team for Class 3A.
