Volunteer Connections provides opportunities through the Human Services Council.

The city of Vancouver seeks ambassadors to help at various events throughout the city. Volunteers may help with face painting, litter removal, event set up or tear down, by providing information.

Clark Public Utilities Stream Team program needs volunteers at restoration events on Saturdays throughout the year. All ages are welcome to help with planting, potting, monitoring, and general maintenance.

Parks Foundation of Clark County is looking for volunteers to collect money from people parking vehicles in the lot next to Vancouver City Hall during the Six to Sunset Concert Series, July 7, 14, 21 and 28; and Aug. 4 and 11.

Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is looking for volunteers to answer phones, process ticket purchases, and help with other office tasks.

WSU Clark County Extension Watershed Stewardship program is looking for people to participate in training on wildlife and plants, water quality and restoration work, and then educate the community through workshop presentations.

Furry Friends, a cat-rescue organization, will provide orientation for new volunteers, 1:30 p.m. on July 10.
