Major crimes detectives are investigating a death at a home in Vancouver’s Bagley Downs neighborhood.
Officers were called to the 4500 block of Nicholson Road just before 4 a.m. Monday for a report of a male found deceased, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
Detectives say there is no threat to the public.
Though patrol officers were able to enter the residence and observe the body initially, detectives waited most of the morning to obtain a search warrant to re-enter the residence and investigate, Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.
“At this point, it’s a suspicious death investigation,” she said.
