The following are local land-use proposals. The county or city may rate them in three categories: nonsignificant, no environmental impact study needed; nonsignificant, provided proponents meet certain conditions; and significant, requiring an environmental impact study.

Clark County

FAIRGROUNDS: Whipple Creek Village seeks approval to divide 23.5 acres into 141 single-family attached and detached lots, and to change the zoning from R-18 to R-12. The site is on five tax lots at Northeast 15th Avenue and Northeast 173rd Street. Environmental impact rating: nonsignificant. Comment deadline: Saturday. SOUTH OF FISHERS CREEK: Columbia Palisades seeks approval for the development of 84.2 acres north of state Route 14, and on the east and west sides of Southeast 192nd Avenue, which is commonly known as the WSDOT quarry. The majority of the site is on the east side of Southeast 192nd Avenue. The proposal includes offices and retail space, a 100-room hotel, 50 single-family detached residences, 26 condominium units, and 286 multi-family units. The project is anticipated to begin in 2016 and to be complete at the end of 2020. Environmental impact rating: nonsignificant. Comment deadline: June 20.
