Three boys may face consequences after allegedly starting a fire in a restroom at Frontier Middle School on Thursday morning.

Fire officials were dispatched to Frontier Middle School, 7600 N.E. 166th Ave., at about 8:45 a.m. for a report of a small fire in the boys’ restroom, Vancouver Fire Marshal Heidi Scarpelli said.

Some paper towels were lit on fire and there was no damage from the incident, she said.

The Vancouver Arson Team, a joint effort by the Vancouver Police Department and the Vancouver Fire Marshal’s Office, investigated and identified three boys as involved in the incident, Scarpelli said.

Information from the investigation was forwarded to the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges.
