After a fun preview day Friday, Dozer Day opens in earnest today at the Clark County Fairgrounds.

Open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday, the annual event organized by the Nutter Foundation offers kids a chance to sit in the cab and pull the levers on earth-moving equipment, play in a giant sandbox, crawl through and on top of giant tires, and wend their way through a pipe maze.

Admission ranges from $8 to $13, and parking is $6. Proceeds go to local charities that benefit children.
