TACOMA — A bullet grazed a person early Sunday after a single shot was fired in a Tacoma nightclub, Tacoma police spokeswoman Shelbie Boyd said.
Between 150 and 200 people were present at the club when the shot was fired, Boyd said. Officers heard additional shots outside the club as they responded but nobody was hit.
Witnesses gave Tacoma police a description of the assailant and the vehicle in which he fled. An officer was able to find the vehicle and follow it.
The suspect crashed his car during a pursuit and tried to run away but was arrested by Tacoma police.
