Every day I drive westbound on state Highway 14 from 164th Street. I notice the annual array of political signs. This year there happens to be a Donald Trump sign for president. His sign has been vandalized four times now that I’ve seen. I know the first time was by a Bernie Sanders supporter because it cursed Trump then had a heart sign and “Love Bernie.” The loyal Trump supporter keeps replacing the sign, but the more this criminal keeps defacing the sign, the more it makes me want to vote for Trump. This Bernie Sanders supporter needs a lesson in respect.
I find it curious why, in his or her latest attempt, this person didn’t deface the Trump name. He or she only sprayed out the “Make America Great Again” slogan in their latest ploy. Isn’t that something that we should all aspire to? Maybe they couldn’t reach the Trump name with their can of spray paint, but my vote is definitely for our veterans and to put America’s interests first. I’m tired of the silent majority not getting heard because we are too polite.
