Letter: Prepare to be the ‘fall guy’

Has anyone told Donald Trump about divestment? Does he know that if he actually wins this election (that he claims to want), he must sell everything considered a conflict, probably at a loss, and put the proceeds into a blind trust, probably at passbook returns?

He seems to think the word president means “boss.” Maybe in business it does, but in government it means “fall guy” or “scapegoat.” If the levees break in Sacramento it means you didn’t micromanage the Corps of Engineers. If a hurricane hits Miami, it is your fault that people weren’t warned they are living on a flood plain. When the Interstate 5 Bridge falls into the Columbia River it is because you neglected infrastructure.

Someone needs to warn that man.
