PORTLAND – McDonald’s Corp. has a new partnership with a Seattle-based syrup maker to serve up to 138 restaurants in Southwest Washington and Oregon.

DaVinci Gourmet’s all-natural syrups will be used in the chain’s McCafe drinks.

Flavors include chocolate, peppermint, Madagascar vanilla and Turkish hazelnut. McDonald’s customers can try the peppermint flavor now in seasonal Peppermint Mocha and Peppermint Hot Chocolate drinks.

“McDonald’s has recognized customers’ evolving expectations and are taking necessary steps to meet them,” the company said in a statement. “More than ever, consumers care about what goes into their food, where it comes from and how it is prepared.”
