There was a debate between Jim Moeller and Jaime Herrera Beutler on Oct. 25 at the Woodland Chamber of Commerce. We are delighted that there was finally a public showing of our incumbent, Herrera Beutler, which we could at least read about. Even so, only at Woodland’s Chamber of Commerce? Alas, the rest of our area would like to see and talk to our representative.
We fact-checked Herrera Beutler’s claim that she has the same “Obamacare” as we have; this is highly inaccurate. See for yourself by Googling “Health Care for Congress” and look for The Hill.com, a Congressional Blog (or look at FactCheck.org).
Because of Herrera Beutler’s freely misrepresenting the truth, abysmal voting record (she doesn’t cast votes much of the time) and not being available for her constituents, she does not deserve another term. Please vote with us for Jim Moeller for 3rd Congressional District.
