A Vancouver teenager remains in critical condition a week after he was injured in a motorcycle crash.

Keaten Wells, 17, was riding a motorcycle on Northeast St. Johns Road at about 8:15 p.m. Nov. 4 when he struck a Jeep stopped to make a turn onto 65th Street, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Wells was ejected from the bike and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where he remains hospitalized.

Prior to the crash, Wells was seen riding without his hands, popping wheelies and weaving in and out of traffic, Kapp said. The driver of the Jeep was not cited, Kapp said.
