A Camas man who was shot during an alleged disturbance at a North Bonneville residence Wednesday has been released from the hospital.

Brian M. Miller, 30, suffered three gunshot wounds, according to the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office, during a physical altercation between him and two others.

Deputies responded at about 7:15 p.m. to a reported burglary at an apartment at 1306 Yehuh St., according to a news release. A second 911 call reported someone had been shot.

Responding deputies found Robert E. Holmes III, 57, who lives there, with a gunshot wound to the face. He was transported to a hospital, where he, too, was treated and released.

Miller had left the scene before authorities arrived and reportedly went to the Washougal police station. Washougal police Sgt. Thad Eakins confirmed Miller had shown up there that evening.

The shooting suspect, 25-year-old Robert E. Holmes IV who lives at the apartment with his father, Holmes III, was taken into custody on suspicion of reckless endangerment. The sheriff’s office said Miller entered the apartment Wednesday night, and there was a physical disturbance between him and both Holmes.
