A seemingly impaired driver plowed through the front of a Cafe Yumm restaurant Sunday afternoon in east Vancouver.
A woman driving a white pickup drove through one of corner rice bowl restaurant’s glass fronts around 4:30 that afternoon, according to the Vancouver police and fire departments.
Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said officers arrived to the restaurant, at 500 S.E. 192nd Ave. in the Fisher’s Landing area, to find the driver passed out inside the vehicle and possibly intoxicated.
Vancouver Fire Department spokesman Pete Adams said the woman was transported to a hospital for evaluation, and that no one inside the business was injured.
